Steve Waugh

Steve Waugh, a kind hearted player played for Australia between 1985 and 2004. He is a right- handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. In Test matches he has scored 10,927 an average of 51. After Mark Taylor he became the Australia’s Test captain. He led Australia to 16 consecutive Test victories. Under his captainship Australia won the 1999 World cup held at England beating Pakistan in the final match. Based on the situation he can play aggressive as well as defensive. He was the Wisden Cricketer of the year 1989 and he also won the Alla Border Medal for the year 2001.
